All about me

Born in Brunico in 1978 and living in Alta Badia in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, I have been a ski instructor since 2000 and a Mountain Guide since 2005 and became a national instructor of Mountain Guides in 2009. Since 2007 I have been holding Freeride skiing courses for trainee ski instructors.

I was born and grew up in the mountains and from childhood experienced all their various aspects.

As a child I went to the mountains every Sunday with my father to climb up vie ferrate; I remember one Sunday in particular heading up the Civetta ferrata when I saw people climbing up the rock face.
I was so impressed by what I saw that I decided in that instant to become a climber; I spent days scrambling up and down the rock wall which ran along the road from my village to the next before I ever touched a real rock face.

My passion for skiing also started at a very early age, I first put on skis when I was only three years old.
By gradually spending more time in the mountains in both summer and winter I decided that my passion for the mountains could become a proper job.

I would be happy to accompany you along many different mountain adventures, experiencing together many magical moments, in close contact with nature and helping you to appreciate the mountains in all of its expressions.

Why a mountain guide

A Mountain Guide is the professional figure recognised at national and international level as the one person competent to guarantee correct behaviour in the mountain environment.

The role of a Mountain Guide is to accompany and introduce others to the multiple facets of the mountains; choosing to face up to the mountains and their related activities in all seasons, under the guidance of a Mountain Guide means choosing to take advantage of his enormous technical knowledge, experience and capacity to interpret his surroundings due to his familiarity with the alpine environment.

All this means that by entrusting your ascents in the mountains to the professionalism of a Mountain Guide, you will benefit from his great knowledge inevitably reducing to a minimum the level of risk linked to your time spent there.
